The 2nd annual “Oil Export Logistics from Kazakhstan” conference will take place in Astana from 24-25 September 2013. As with previous year, the event will feature social function including a networking drinks reception on the evening of Day 1 at Radisson Hotel.
The oil industry is a key driver of development in modern Kazakhstan. The country continues to increase hydrocarbon production and provide it to the world market.
The geography of routes is diverse, but the limited capacity continues to be a problem.
Logistical systems are still under development, and therefore, transportation costs are high and delivery times higher than the standard of performance, and the companies involved in the shipment of cargo and the process of delivery, ask the questions:
- What is of greater priority? Europe? Or Asia?
- How do exporters make the right choice against the background of bottlenecked routes and hydrocarbons shipping costs?
- What is the way to plan future deliveries in the context of emerging routes and general expansion of transportation infrastructure?
- What are the export volumes, and is there potential for growth?
- Where will the volumes due to changes in the legislation?
All these questions remain pending. To respond to that International Business House brings together oil traders, transportation companies and the leading industry experts and analysts from Kazakhstan and from around the world for 360° debate on the most pressing issues of the day. Join us for a unique chance to step back, see the Kazakhstan Oil logistics world from diverse perspectives, and spark fresh solutions to common challenges.
