The course instructor is an experienced commodity trading and risk management professional with a demonstrated history of working across a wide range of commodities.
He has traded oil products & derivatives during his trading career. He has worked for BP, Engen, UBS, RWE Trading and other companies.
Currently, he is engaged by a number of large FMCG clients to help quantify and manage their commodity risk.
He also runs an active training practice with specialty areas include Commodity Risk Management, Training and Proprietary Trading, and programs in Psychology of Trading and Decision Making under risk. His clients include major energy companies, banking groups and large corporates with participants ranging from new hires to corporate executives. Besides core concepts, he also uses simulations as part of his training design, including many real-world examples.
He has authored and run trading and price risk management courses for many industries: Energy, including Oil, LNG, Gas, Electricity, Coal and Biofuels, Petrochemicals, and The Psychology of Decision Making and Emotional Impacts in Trading.
He is also employed as an expert witness in commercial litigations across a wide range of commodities.
